About Stefan Knauss and Aesthetic Prosthetics
Stefan is the co-owner of Aesthetic Prosthetics® and a Prosthetist. He earned a Bachelors degree from Occidental College and studied at the Art Center College of Design. He has a Masters of Associated Medical Sciences from the Craniofacial Center in the Department of Maxillofacial Prosthetics at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He also studied prosthetics and orthotics at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Stefan is certified in prosthetics and orthotics by the American Board of Certifications for Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Aesthetic Prosthetics® works with each of their clients in person in the comfort and privacy of our facility located in Pasadena, California. Amputations can differ from person-to-person and need to be treated individually. They work personally with patients to find out how they can make a prosthesis that best meets the patient's expectations. It is important that the prosthesis matches the patient's skin tone and features, as well as fits properly. During the process of fabrication, Aesthetic Prosthetics asks for your feedback so we can make any alterations to ensure the prosthesis is right for you.
